We went from, in January, being all massively hyped for this July combat, to seeing it slowly collapse, to then transferring on from the combat and on to Gilbert Burns-Kamaru Usman solely to one way or the other, in a final gasp effort, get the combat we’ve got been dreaming of since December. Yep, that’s a fairly apt description. However the actually loopy factor is that we’re truly ending up with a greater and greater combat ultimately – I don’t care what anybody says, Kamaru Usman vs. Jorge Masvidal is the most important combat you may realistically make for the UFC 170-pound title proper now – and it’s all a direct results of the very pandemic that the UFC is attempting so exhausting to work…
